Leading Provider of Technology-Enabled Revenue Cycle Management Services Improves Claims Management and Reimbursement

Kansas City, MO, April 10, 2017 – Pulse Systems, Inc. a Revenue Cycle Management (“RCM”) company with advanced medical billing services and technologies, announced today the new release of PulseCloud TM, aimed at helping physician practices improve their billing and reimbursement functions, critical for the financial health and sustainability of their organizations.

PulseCloudTM currently delivers an effective claims management system that streamlines a practice’s payment collections. When using PulseCloud, medical practices can manage claims and quickly respond to patient billing inquiries. The result is a simplified and timely patient collection cycle that reduces write-offs resulting in lost revenue and enhances the patient experience.

This new version also offers PulseCloud Lockbox, which provides a secure and central location for practices to track payments and view the information needed to complete the lifecycle of a claim. Physician practices can post Lockbox payments from both patients and payers, balance the contents of the Lockbox and post payments to patients’ accounts. This functionality improves RCM integrity by giving practices timely access to accurate payment information and ensuring faster processing.

PulseCloud features a new ‘Revenue at Risk’ dashboard that shows the number of appointments for which claims have not been posted. With instant access to their claim status information, physician practices can be more proactive in their claim submission process and take immediate action to minimize potential financial loss. Additionally, PulseCloud allows clients to record timely filing rules for initial filing against a primary payer. This added functionality assures providers submit claims within the payer’s filing deadline so that claims get accepted, maximizing reimbursements.

“Pulse offers comprehensive RCM services that help physicians get paid faster, simplify work and improve the delivery of patient services,” said Chris Walls, President, and CEO of Pulse. “PulseCloud improves RCM management for practices and gives them quick access to patient billing information, reducing claim errors to receive payments faster.”
