The 16th annual Pulse User Group (PUG) meeting is May 2-5th, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. We have a great lineup of sessions and two outstanding keynote speakers, all to help you reach your full professional potential and boost your practice’s business. PUG is a great way to share experiences with fellow practice professionals facing the same daily challenges as you.
At this year’s PUG, we are very excited to offer 7 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 credits to anyone interested in earning CMEs. Courses include “Quality Payment Program Reporting,” “With Winning in Mind…The Mental Secrets of Truly Elite Performers”, and “Tips for Managing Compliance Changes in eRX”.
We are also thrilled with the keynote speakers joining us this year. Tim Durkin, one of America’s leading experts in healthcare leadership and management, will present a keynote titled “Exceptional Practices That Will Create Exceptional Practices… Leadership Skills for Today’s Healthcare Challenges”, in which Tim will enable practice leaders to use techniques that will create a positive patient experience as well as employee experience. Tim will also present a training session at PUG to help practice members increase the likelihood of performing at their best, on demand and under stress, by outlining the seven principles that will help you get better results out of work and life.
Our other keynote address is national MGMA speaker & author Elizabeth Woodcock. She will present “Mastering Patient Flow: From Volume to Value”. In this session, Elizabeth will show you how to apply innovative lean management principles to control costs, improve patient flow and find overlooked revenue opportunities. If you want to increase the quality and quantity of patient encounters while simultaneously improving customer service, you won’t want to miss this session!
Just to make sure PUG is not all work and no play, there will be great evening events and several wellness activities such as poolside yoga classes for all experience levels each morning, walking tours on the San Antonio Riverwalk, and chair massage stations during lunch breaks to loosen those tight shoulders.
This year’s PUG promises to be the best user conference ever! We hope to see you there!
